On a recent trip to New York, I was in Duane Reade and picked up a few bottles of ‘balance water’. Normally I have waste issues with bottled water – but - balance is no ordinary drinking water.
The Australian company makes water infused with flower essences* - also the key ingredient in Nectar Essences. Besides being a wonderful product ( i loved the MIND water. it really calmed me and helped me deal with the craziness of nyc), the company is also pretty cool. They reduce their carbon footprint by sourcing water here in the states and are looking into a biodegradable plastic alternative for packaging.
Flower essences are very new to the mainstream US, but in Australia and many European companies, they are well known and accepted. I was in New Mexico last week and I met three people from the UK whose parents had given them Bach flower essences as children. As the owner of a flower essence based company, I am very excited to see more flower essence based products on the shelves.
