I love fungi. It’s one of my favorite food groups. I grew up on Chinese cuisine and in a household that ate a lot of mushrooms.
Chinese medicine teaches us that mushrooms are nourishing for the kidneys. They are detoxifying and support immunity. They flourish in the winter time, a time when our kidneys need recharging.
A couple of months ago, I met Iso Rabins, founder of Forage SF.

Forage SF is a CSA based in San Francisco. They forage for wild mushrooms, veggies, fish and meat. I am super excited to learn more about foraging for food and look forward to posting about my mushrooming adventures with Iso.
