
my friend christopher and i had dinner at cafe gratitude ( a live foods restaurant in sf) last night. we sat at a community table with these three wonderful women named jessica, jenn, and sierra. these girls were so amazing. bright, happy, and decked out with stones and crystals galore (kinda reminded me of myself in my early twenties, he he).
we ordered the “i am sensational” pesto pizza which is a buckwheat -sunflower seed sourdough crust topped with fresh hemp seed pesto sauce, olive tapenade, the fresh tomatoes, cashew ricotta, and brazil nut parmesan. yum!
we also had the “i am cherished” raw cheesecake – it was lime and coconut flavored. delish.
my life is a dream! i am so grateful for the beautiful people in my life and for the beautiful people i encounter everyday.
below is my favorite raw recipe :
live nori / soaked almond / flax crackers
soak 1 1/2 cup of flax for half an hour. the flax will create a viscous gel. mix one handful of finely chopped cilantro, one tsp finely minced garlic, 2 tablespoon finely diced onion, and 1 tsp salt. spread mixture thinly onto a half sheet of nori. dehydrate in dehydrator for 3 hours or until dried completely. store in an air tight container. enjoy !
